Flexible and reliable service, with drivers dedicated to doing their best in their work – Arom-dekor Kemi’s Managing Director Dainius Pupinis has nothing but praise for their collaboration with Samat Nordic Oy.

Arom-dekor Kemi is a leading supplier of AdBlue® and other vehicle care chemicals in the Nordic region. The company manages the entire process from production to packaging and delivery, ensuring consistent high quality. In Finland, they have established a production facility in Kouvola, which began operations in early 2019.

Samat Nordic has provided Arom-dekor Kemi with reliable logistic and production services now for 7 years. The collaboration between the companies started in 2018 but Managing Director Dainius Pupinis has known Samat Nordic long before that.

The collaboration later happened when Arom-dekor Kemi, previously called AdChemicals, expanded in Finland. At first, Samat Nordic provided two services, logistics and production in smaller scale. When Arom-dekor’s number of customers started to grow, expanded the need of logistics as well.

Effective and professional

A long-standing collaboration speaks volumes about its success. Pupinis emphasizes that Samat Nordic is an extremely professional company, including its staff. He appreciates how effectively Samat manages logistics and resolves potential issues before they escalate.

“With logistics, it’s a good sign if you don’t hear much about it – that means there are no problems and everything is running smoothly,” he says.

Pupinis has many positive things to say about Samat Nordic’s drivers. Their attitude toward work stands out compared to many others he has encountered.

”Too often, you see drivers who are just there to drive their trucks and nothing more. But Samat’s drivers actively provide feedback: How was the trip? Were there any issues? Where can we improve? It’s a teamwork, and I really appreciate that.”

Pupinis also values how polite and welcoming Samat Nordic’s drivers are.

“Since I don’t speak Finnish, they always try to communicate in English. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by that.”

“For example, when the need arose, Samat Nordic updated their system to communicate with our customer system. Flexibility is crucial for customers like us in this industry. These are significant advantages, and Samat management is fantastic,” Pupinis says.

When asked whether he would recommend Samat Nordic to other companies, his answer is simple: yes, obviously.

“I hope we will continue this collaboration in the future and maintain the excellent communication.”
