Field Practices that make a difference
In 2024, based on precise data (annual mileage, tire types, number of regroovings and retradings, etc.), we were able to measure the positive environmental impact of our maintenance policy.
On the ground, our teams work every day to extend the life of tires and minimize resource usage. These concrete actions help reduce our carbon footprint while maintaining safety and performance.
The results are significant :
• 836 tonnes of CO₂ saved
• 148 tonnes of raw materials preserved
These figures were established using a rigorous methodology developed by Michelin and validated by the independant organization DEKRA. The calculation is based on a full life-cycle analysis of the tires, taking into account the savings achieved in production, raw material consumption, and greenhouse gas emissions.
